Joe Bernard Parks

Joe Bernard Parks Sr., born June 10, 1945 in Hardin County Texas, passed away November 3, 2019 in Beaumont, Texas. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Ray Fuqua Parks; his sister Billie Johnson; his brothers, Archie, Sidney, Lester and Reuben Parks. 

Joe is survived by his daughter, Kelli and husband Dr. Qamar Arfeen; his son, Joe Parks Jr. and wife Lynda; daughter, Geraldine and husband Philip Caraway; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister; Anita Leonard; and brother, Charlie Parks and the mother of Joe’s children, Frances Parks. 

Visitation will be held at 12-2 pm Monday, November 4, 2019, at the Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee Texas.

Funeral service to be held at 2 pm Monday, November 4, 2019, at the Farmer Funeral Home with Brother C.W. Lawrence officiating.  Interment will follow at Knupple Cemetery in Silsbee Texas.
