Larry Arlen Long Sr

Larry Arlen Long., Sr., 72 of Kountze, Texas, passed away in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 12, 2019.  Larry was born June 9, 1947 as the oldest son to Roy and Myrtle Long.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Jeanette Jones, Bobbie Joyce Long, Mary Alice McNorton, Cindy Lou McAllister, and Robert "Bob" Long.  He is survived by siblings Marie Long, Ida Falcon and Jack Long.

Larry is survived by his spouse Pam Mom, his son Larry A. Long, Jr., his wife Jennifer and their son Jet; his daughter Laura Long Gardner and her son Mario; his daughter Leyna Terranova, her husband Livio and their children Alex, Isabella ad Christian.

Larry lived a full life.  He spent many days of his life hunting, fishing and camping.  These activities were only overshadowed by his love for riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles.  He began a welding career in Beaumont, Texas for Bethlehem Steel.  He moved on to pipefitting and welding as a member of Pipefitters Local 195 before moving to California and retiring from Pipefitters Local 342.

A Celebration of Life will begin with a viewing Monday, December 16, 2019 at 12:00 pm followed by memorial services at 2:00 pm.  Services will be held at Farmer Funeral Home, 415 N. 4th St., Silsbee, Texas.
