Madelene Pharris age 76, Closed her eyes in this life to open them in Heaven on December 29, 2019. Madelene, a.k.a Mae, Aunt Mae, Sis., Ma and Mom, was a resident of Buna Texas for several years as she spent those last few years with a Wonderful Man, Arthur Simmons, (Art) Whom dearly Loved her and she him.
Mae Was known to many by different names but one most would agree was Faithful. She was there anytime you needed her and brought with her laughs about times gone by. She was Loved by all her family and friends and anyone who came to know her.
Mae was preceded in death by her companion Arthur Simmons, Her late husband Henry Pharris, Her mother Stella Green, Her Brother and wife Jay and Mary Cravy, Her sister and husband Odell and Earnest Brown, Her Grandson Joshua Danner, and Her Son Henry Pharris as well as other family and friends.
She was survived by Her Brother and wife William and Theresa Green, Her Daughter and son-in-law Karen and Scott Granger, Her son Roger Pharris, Grandsons Julian Danner, Stanley Danner, Henry Pharris, Michael Granger, and Grand Daughters Andrea Pharris, and Emily Granger. As well as many Nieces and Nephews, cousins, and several Great grandchildren. And Many Many Friends.
Mae was born in Fred Texas and later resided in Buna. As many share stories of Mae, you can get the feeling that she was adventurous and liked to travel. Known for her hard work and Love for her Family you often times could find Mae in the kitchen cooking a meal from what ever the cabinets offered. In her younger years mae could be found on a bank of a river with a pole in her hand or around the fire with a cup of coffee. As time does most, she would trade the pole for dice as she and Art loved to play 10,000 and as Art would roll that final time and win she would blame him for cheating since he was keeping score and he would forget to write yours down. She enjoyed times when family would come together and usually this involved a meal of some sort. What ever you may have called mae, One thing is for certain she is loved and will be Missed by all. Mae, Aunt Mae, Ma, Mom, Sis. We Love you and forever will miss you till we see you again.
