Austin Chase Guidry

Austin Guidry, 29, of Silsbee passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023. He was born in Pasadena, Texas on April 28, 1994 to Desiree Sherrick and Cloyd James Guidry Jr.

Austin graduated from Ball High School in Galveston in 2012 and was a boilermaker by trade. He was a kind a generous person that would help anyone in need no matter the circumstances. He would give the shirt off his back and even the shoes off his feet if he knew someone truly needed them. Austin loved animals and enjoyed raising chickens and goats. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Austin will be deeply missed by all; who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his loving wife of seven years, Kayla Segrest; children, Eliza Chaney, Colton Segrest, Madilynn Guidry; parents, Desiree Sherrick and husband John; Cloyd James Guidry Jr.; siblings, Cloyd James Guidry III, Trace Sealy and wife Meaghan, Gabby Guidry; grandparents, Connie Olive, Cathy Guidry, Cloyd James Guidry Sr., Joe Sherrick; aunt, Carrie Singleton; uncle, Christopher Guidry; nieces and nephews, Maliha, Mya, Juliette, Camden, Emma, Tinsley; and numerous other family members and friends.

Cremation services will be held under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
