Barbara Jo Etheridge

Barbara Jo Etheridge, 79, of Silsbee, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024, in Beaumont. She was born June 24, 1944, in Sabine County, Texas, to the late William Joseph Clark and Ollie McClelland Clark.
Barbara cherished her time with her friends and family playing games such as dominoes, bingo, and her favorite, Phase 10. One of her most memorable childhood stories she would tell was, “I was a mean little girl, always running away to my Grandma Clark’s to hide under her bed.” She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Barbara will be deeply missed by
all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Beverly Mooney.
Barbara is survived by her children, Kenneth Durbin and wife, Tina, of Silsbee; Roy Durbin and wife, Dee Ann, of Fred; Darlene Elmore and husband, Melvin, of Livingston; Arlene Robinson and husband, Robert, of Spurger; grandchildren, Kendra Simmons and husband, Wayne, Dustin McCraw and wife, Brenna, Brandon Parker and wife, Donnielle, Tanner Durbin, Hannah Eason and husband, Cory, Bess Elmore, Brock Robinson and wife, Madison, Kamri Adams and husband, Seth; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Gayla Samuel and husband, Jim; and a host of other family members and friends.
