Berwin "Shorty" Lee Summers

Berwin Lee “Shorty” Summers, 75, of Silsbee passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023. He was born on November 22, 1947 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to the late Oren Summers and Elise Fisher Summers.

Shorty loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed trail riding as a hobby but most of all, Shorty loved his family most of all. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Linda Summers.

Shorty is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Florence Summers of Silsbee; son, Bobby Lee Summers of Silsbee; sister, Virginia Summers Gilpin of Port Allen Louisiana; brother, Carue Summers or Port Allen Louisiana; brother in law, Melvin Sibley of Pride Louisiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

At the family’s request, please wear casual attire to the service.
