Betty Breaux Obituary

Betty Louise Breaux, 72, of Aransas, Texas passed away Tuesday September 24, 2024. She was born December 5, 1951, in Pasadena, Texas to the late Bill Nolen and Cora Jordan Nolen.

Betty graduated high school In Winnie, Tx where she met her husband Roger Breaux of fifty- four years. Betty and Roger lived in many places and loved exploring the world in their RV. They lived in Winnie, Texas where they had their two children Shana and Jeff.

Her children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews were the most important things to her. Betty fell ill with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in 2013 but that didn’t stop her from doing the things she loved. In her teen years Betty grew a passion for barrel racing. She enjoyed the sport and won many ribbons during her rodeo years. Betty worked at Crockett and Buna ISD for many years as an administrative assistant. Betty and Roger loved traveling and would often try their luck at the casino…

She loved spending the holidays with her children and grandchildren and always had Lifetime Christmas channel playing in the background, while she made her traditional casseroles.

She is preceded in death by her mother Cora Nolen, her father Bill Nolen and her brother Bill Leonard Nolen.

Betty is survived by her husband, Roger, of fifty-four years, her daughter Shana, son Jeffrey and his wife Chandelle, her grandchildren, Billy, Chance, Cassie, Brandon, Addison, and many nieces and nephews.
