Betty Jane Keel

Betty Jane (McDaniel) Keel of Silsbee passed away Monday, August 30, 2021.  She was born July 15, 1947 to the late Regile McDaniel and Joyce (Meaux) McDaniel in Jennings, LA.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Thomas E. Keel who passed away only 6 days prior.  She is survived by her brother David and wife Donna McDaniel from Houston, TX;  a daughter Jeanete (Keel) and husband John Petitt of Silsbee; a son Robert and wife Angel; a son Chuck and wife Liz  of Buna, TX.  She had six grandchildren: Matt and wife Erin Foyil of Sour Lake; Charity Pond of Silsbee, Brandi and husband Weaver Brown; Phillip and wife Taylor Keel of Silsbee and Faith and Hope Keel of Buna.  If you really wanted to see her face light up ask her about her 9 great grands.  Adrian, Alex and Ashtyn Foyil and Annastasia Foyil, Jacen and Jaxxon, Crain and Caleb Schwaab. Avery Brown and Olivia Keel.  The last 25 years she devoted her life to serving in the Ministry with her husband, family and beloved church family.

Funeral Services will be held at 3PM Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Farmer Funeral Home with burial to follow at RS Farmer Memorial Cemetery.
