Obituary

Betty Joy Youngblood, 82, of Silsbee passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023. She was born on December 17, 1940 in Tyler County, Texas to the late KD Hensarling and Ruth Daisy (Goode) Hensarling.

Betty married her husband, Calvin D. Youngblood on June 18, 1959 and they were married for 64 years. Together, they had three children and lived a beautiful life together, eventually making their home in Silsbee. Betty was a loving wife and devoted mother and Granny. She was deeply loved and will be truly missed.

She is preceded in death by both parents; and one sister, Sarah Ann Sanchez.

Betty is survived by her loving husband, Calvin D. Youngblood; children, Rhonda Leggett and husband Chuck, Mike Youngblood and wife Jamie, Anthony Youngblood; grandchildren, Caitlin, Carina, Crista Ceirdwyn, Mason, Ethan, Carson; great grandchildren, Caleb and Winter; brother, Doyle Hensarling; sister, Shirley Unsworth and husband Hugh; and numerous other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Spindletop Center in Silsbee.
