Billye Glynn Holland, 90 of Lumberton, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023. She was born on April 19, 1932, in Gatesville, Texas to the late Edwin Raymond Graves and Birtie Mae Farmer Graves.
Billye was very active in the church where she taught Sunday school class and sang in the church choir. She was a member of Bridge Street Baptist in Gatesville, Tx; Eleventh Street Baptist Church in Beaumont, Tx; Silsbee Baptist Church in Silsbee, Tx and she most recently was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Kountze, Tx. She loved being a deacon’s wife to her late husband Lee. She and her husband were married November 27, 1958, in Gatesville, Texas and were long time residences of Southeast Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Lee Chapman Holland Jr.; brother, Clifford Graves; sisters, Addye Graves Campbell, Yvetta Graves Holston Merriweather, Juanita Graves Watson Burkalter; and great grandson, Jaxon Savoy.
She is survived by her children, Claudia Hallmark of Lumberton, Brian Holland and wife Kathy of Vidor, Kevin Holland of Newton; grandchildren, Leona Evans, Jesse Holland, Bridget Holland, Loveda Evans, Ava Holland; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
