Bishop David Gordon Davis, 79, of Buna passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.  Mr. Davis was born in Houston August 6,1940 to John and Mabel North Davis. David was a pastor and worked as a pipefitter in the oil business. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Winona Duhon Davis, of Buna; daughter Natasha Ann Davis; son David Shane Davis and grandchildren Caprie Malory Davis and Maranda Lynn Davis.  He is also survived by brothers, John Davis, Trueman Davis, Kenneth Davis and Paul Davis. Preceding him in death are his parents; brother Charles Davis and sisters, Margaret Parker and Lois Davis. A graveside service for Mr. Davis will be 2 pm, Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Morse Cemetery in Buna.  Visitation will be 5 pm until 7 pm Saturday at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.  We will need to practice social distancing and a limit of ten visitors at a time.  Thank you for your understanding. Pallbearers will be Ricky Kelly, Taylor Kelly, Trey Mathis, Gabriel Smith, Perry Smith, Shawn Stanley and Ryan Brandenburg. Mr. Davis will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
