Bobbie Jean Gregory, 89, of Fred passed away Wednesday April 23, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born Wednesday December 11, 1935, in Fred to the late Jim Robert “Bob” Moore and Nellie Opal Yawn Moore.
Bobbie attended Mt. Olivet Baptist church for many years, she helped in the nursery, taught Sunday school class, and even helped with Vacation Bible School. Bobbie was a self-employed Florist; In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, reading, collecting teapots and fine glassware, and keeping up with all the current events going on.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gregory; both parents; son Michael Gregory; brothers, Dennis Wayne Moore, Travis Lee Moore, Don Moore, and Roy Moore; sister, Martha Nell Ard; granddaughter, Bethany Jean Gregory; great grandsons, Christian and Alexander Moore.
Those left to cherish Bobbie’s memory include, her son, Bruce Gregory and wife Tammy of Milam, Texas; daughter Phyllis Eilleen McMinn of Easley, South Carolina, Tammy Rene Gregory Jordan Heriard of Fred; daughter-in-law, Donece Langham Gregory, of Fred; grandchildren, David Keith Gregory, Kimberly Charlotte Gregory Armstrong, Phillip Mark McMinn, Micah Stephen McMinn, Helena Elizabeth Jordan Evans, Elizabeth Tyler Gregory, Brittany Kendall Gregory, Brent Alan Heriard, Mary Ann Grace McMinn Milby, Rachel Bergan Gregory, and Lindsay Brooke Gregory; great grandchildren, Christian Gregory, Brandon Gregory, Logan Gregory Armstrong, Karlee Armstrong, Jayden Evans, Jayse Evans, Jaythan Evans, Jordan Evans, Judah McMinn, Ada McMinn, Stella McMinn, Esther McMinn, Max McMinn; sister, Nova Dee Stumpf of Danbury, Texas; brothers Dwon Moore and wife Barbara of Fred and Robert Keith Moore and wife Nancy of Fred; and a host of other family members and friends.
