Brandon Dwain Cunningham, 47, of Nederland passed away Friday, November 6, 2020.
He was born in Kirbyville, Texas June 30, 1973 to Teresa (Tessie) Lee Scott-Cunningham and Harvey Dwain Cunningham.
Brandon was a loving father to Logan. He instilled in him good moral values, responsibility, and loved watching Logan play football at Lumberton High School, Brandon’s Alma Mater. Brandon loved his little brother, Justin, who said that his big brother was his best friend. They were several years apart in age and Justin always looked up to him. His cousins were all a lot younger as well and thought of him as a role model. Brandon was a big brother to all of them. His parents said he loved life, traveling the United States and overseas. In high school he was a star basketball player and has maintained many of the special relationships to this day. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and many of those trips were on his Harley with those close friends. Brandon loved life and lived it to the fullest. His big smile and "life of the party" personality will be greatly missed.
Brandon was employed at Total Petrochemical Refinery in Port Arthur, Texas for most of his working career. He completed a degree in Criminal Justice at Lamar University.
He is survived by his parents; his son, Logan Andrew Cunningham; his brother, Justin James Cunningham; niece, Macie Lee Cunningham; aunts, Eloise (Elly) Soler, Melissa (Missy) Marie Graham, Patsy E.
