Brandy Donette Bailey, 50, of Village Mills passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022. She was born September 21, 1972 in Beaumont, Texas to Donald Wayne Julian and Mary Paulette Abney.
She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in nursing, attended Crestwood Baptist Church for ten years, loved to read and solve crossword puzzles, was a very take charge strong woman and loved animals. Some of her favorite things in the world were clothes and shoes, Chinese or Mexican food, a hot bath daily from 6-7, church on Wednesdays and Sundays, giving and receiving God’s Word, being a protective sister to her brother, traveling; and a favorite scripture of hers was Joshua 1:9. She was a loving and devoted wife, caring daughter, a comfort to others, a speaker of Christ, and always faithful in worship. Brandy loved to mow and referred to herself as the “keeper of the lawn”. She was a compassionate nurse and loved to share the goodness of Christ with her patients. She and her beloved husband Kenny started their days with coffee, Christ, and each other. They spent most mornings reading God’s Word and in prayer. She would leave him “I Love You” notes in his lunch regularly. They would also exchange “How is your day” texts often. Brandy would end the day by greeting Kenny at the driveway with a large and beautiful smile and their dog. Later in her illness the greeting moved to the back porch, but it was still just as special. At mealtimes, they prayed to their savior before eating. Brandy was a spectacular and incredible woman. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Paulette (Abney) Julian, her husband of 14 years, Kenny Bailey, her beloved dog Sydney, her niece, Tiffanee, nephew Mason and her siblings, Jeffrey Julian and wife Kim of Jacksonville, TX.
