Buford Moss

Buford Moss, 76, of Buna, died Tuesday, September 10, 2024. He was born on February 10, 1948, in Evadale, to Archie and Elizabeth (Griswold) Moss.

Buford retired as a Lease Pumper after several years of service with ARCO. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and Coca Cola and will be remembered for his ability to grow flowers, especially roses.

He is survived by his son, Matt Moss, and his wife, Kristi, of Buna; grandchildren, Marcie Lewis, and her husband, Justin, of Buna, Logan Moss, and Luke Moss, also of Buna; great granddaughter, Lonni Lewis; brothers, Jim Moss, and his wife Audrey, of Evadale, Gerald Moss, of Buna, and Harold Moss, of Evadale, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Buford was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 50 years, Mary Puntes Moss; brothers, David, Larry, and Merlin Moss; and his sisters, Barbara Sanders, Laverne Landis, and Joyce Havens.
