Bouakai “Kai” Sonsing Peeler, 75, of Silsbee, died Monday, October 14, 2024, at her home. She was born on Monday, January 24, 1949, in Ubon, Thailand. Kai came to the United States in 1976 with her husband, Edward Peeler.
She is survived by her husband, Khammoune Ratsabouth, of Silsbee; brother, Sonphong Sonsing; sisters, Nhoo Kou Sonsing and Ang Sonsing, of Thailand; granddaughter, Emily Jade, of Dallas; stepchildren, Vixay Ratsabouth, of Port Arthur, Vixien Ratsabouth, of Houston and Vilath Ratsabouth, of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Kai is preceeded in death by her son, Phillip Peeler.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at R.S. Farmer Cemetery.
