Cheral Darlene Freeman, 74, of Brookeland and longtime resident of Lumberton went to her heavenly home on Sunday, March 19, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.
She was born on January 27, 1949 in Jasper, Texas to the late Kenneth DuBose and Paula Fern Harvey.
Cheral was a special lady who loved the Lord and was a member of the Circuit Riders MM and attended The Master’s Table Church. Her hobbies included crocheting, playing solitaire, attending church, and watching the Marx Brothers, Red Skelton, Expedition Unknown, and Marvel movies with her son. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Freeman; grandparents, Jones and Bertha Harvey, Arles and Laura DuBose; parents, Kenneth Dubose and Paula Fern Harvey; sisters, Susan Rachal and Maria Gray; and brother, Harvey Lynn DuBose.
Cheral is survived by her son, Arles Gene Freeman (Geneo); brother, KE DuBose; sister, Lindy Ruckel; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and a myriad of great and great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5-8PM Friday, March 24, 2023 and Celebration of Life will be 2PM Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee. Interment will follow at Knupple Cemetery where she will be laid to rest by her husband.
