Cody Keel Obituary

Cody Allan Keel passed away on June 8, 2021. He was born on April 21, 1994 to his parents, Wendy McGinty Rodgers and John Keel in Beaumont, Texas. Cody was a resident of Madisonville and Silsbee, Texas. He was a Silsbee High School graduate, class of 2012.

Cody is survived by his mother, Wendy Rodgers (John) of Silsbee; his father, John Keel of Ohio; his fiancé, Bishop Simmons; his children, Bransyn Allan Keel and Sailyr Burns of Silsbee; his sister, Macy Walker; his brothers, Johnathan Rodgers (Tori) of Silsbee, Justin Rodgers (Brittany) of Texarkana, and Jeremy Rodgers of Silsbee; his grandparents, Larry and Marcia McGinty of Madisonville; his Aunt, Liz Ward (Buddy) of Madisonville; his uncle, Carl McGinty (Amphan) of Bedias; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Cody is also survived by a village that helped love and raise him including; Clint and Crysti Nixon, Ronnie Pelt, Pastor Ray McNames, Rich and Tanya Moore, and many others.

. He is preceded in death by his Auntie by heart, Annie Shumaker.

Pastor Ray McNames will be officiating and flowers and condolences may be offered at the funeral home.

Visitation will be held at 1pm, Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Farmer Funeral Home with funeral service starting at 3pm. A graveside committal service will be held immediately following at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery.
