Curtis Crowell Obituary

               Curtis Lee Crowell passed away November 4, 2021 in early morning hours of sleep. He was born in Ruston, Louisiana April 30, 1943 to the late Onnie Lee Crowell and Faye Marie Jones Crowell. He was a fan of baseball, little league, Chet Atkinson, and Elvis. He served as a reserve deputy for Hardin County and later elected constable. He retired after 35 years from P.D. Glycol/Occidental Chemical as shift supervisor. He maintained a pilot license and volunteered with Civil Air Patrol. He had a master electrical license and taught leadership training at Lamar Firefighting school. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, hunting, and playing guitar. A longtime member of First Pentecostal Church in Silsbee, he knew all the blessings of this life come from the Lord.

                He is survived by his wife Barbara Barnes Crowell, all his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, his brother, sister and many friends who loved him and wil miss him until we all meet again in heaven.

                A gathering of all will be at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze Texas, Saturday November 6th, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
