Funeral services for Dale F Colleps Sr, 89, of Beaumont will be at 10AM on Monday, August 3rd at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee, TX with internment following at Knupple Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9am – 10am at Farmer’s.

Mr. Colleps passed away on July 29th, 2020, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Dale was born in Silsbee, Texas on March 14, 1931 to Cordell and Dora Colleps.  He was a chemist for Hercules Incorporated.

He served his country honorably during the Korean Conflict as a radar encryption specialist.

Dale is preceded in death by his much-loved wife of 66 years, Juanita, whom he typically introduced as “his bride” - no matter the years of marriage.

Dale was preceded in death by his siblings including three brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include his sons Dale F Colleps Jr and wife Leda, and Glenn Manning Colleps, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; three grand children -  James DeWald and wife Sarah, Amanda Francois and husband Troy, and Margaret Huckabee and husband Chris and seven great grandchildren John Kirby Francois, George Francois, Georgia Huckabee, Lillian Huckabee, Sierra Dewald, Raquel DeWald, and Asher DeWald.
