Daniel W. Jenkins Jr. (Cowboy), 73, of Kirbyville passed away Tuesday February 25, 2025. He was born in Silsbee October 09, 1951, to the late Daniel Webster Jenkins Sr. and Francis Ann Humble Jenkins.
Cowboy loved spending his time outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also really enjoyed watching old westerns, such as, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, the Andy Griffith Show, and anything with John Wayne. What brought him the most joy though was spending time with his family. He will forever be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by both parents, brother Timmy Jenkins, and his sister Ronda Lynn Jenkins Brown.
Those left to cherish Cowboy’s memory include his three children, Shannon Bragg and her husband Lynn, Kevin Jenkins and his wife Kristee, and Lucas Jenkins and his wife Emily; grandchildren, Sarah Bragg and her wife Lacey, Kelsy Bowers and husband Dustin, Kansas Jenkins, Malana Goings, Riley Goings, Keegan Goings, Emma Goings, Ashtyn Jenkins,and her fiance, Dalton Teeler, Logan Jenkins, Kodi Tubbs, and Delaney Leach; great grandchildren, Hayden Bragg, Peyton Bowers, Baby Bowers (due July 2025), Jack Lilley, Maverick Marby, Grayson Bateman, and June Elizabeth Teeler; sisters, Kathy Moss, Ricky Jenkins, and Sheila Laarman; mother of his children, Donna Holcomb Jenkins Brown; and a host of other family members and friends.
