Daniel "Pappy" Edwin Haines Sr.

Daniel Edwin “Pappy” Haines Sr., 73, of Orange, died Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital, in Beaumont. He was born on Saturday, April 21, 1951 in Whitehall, Pennsylvania to Charles Eugene and Katie Ruth (Cole) Haines.

Pappy worked as a truck driver and loved traveling the world in his truck. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, cards, and puzzle books.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Haines; son, Daniel Haines II; and his grandsons, Owen, and Leland.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marie Palmer; and his brother, David Anderson.

A Celebration of Life for Pappy will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Outlaw Bible Church 7595 Hwy 12 Vidor, TX 77662.

Mr. Haines' cremation arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
