Darrell (Cooter) Lynn Nolen

Darrell Lynn Nolen (Cooter), 61, of Silsbee passed away Thursday January 18, 2024. He was born December 16, 1962 in Kountze, Texas to Lavetia Fritz Nolen and the late John H. Nolen.

Darrell attended Grace and Mercy church in Beaumont. He was a talented welder by trade. When he wasn’t working, he would spend his time hunting, fishing, and shooting pool with his buddies. Darrell was a loving father, PawPaw, son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, John H. Nolen, and daughter Rebecca Nolen.

Darrell is survived by his mother Lavetia Nolen of Silsbee; sons, James Nolen of Silsbee, John Nolen of Nederland; grandchildren, Zayn Darrell Nolen, Rebecca Raylene Nolen, Rowan James Nolen; sister DeeAnn Zimmerman of Silsbee; brother John Leroy Nolen of Buna; and a host of other family members and friends.
