David Bean Obituary

 

David Bean, 60, of Silsbee, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Christus Southeast Texas Jasper Memorial Hospital. He was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1964, in Kountze, to Elton and Emma Lou (Jenkins) Bean.

David was a driller, who worked drilling water wells. He enjoyed fishing and camping, riding motorcycles, and horses, and was a pickup man at rodeos, in many different places. He will be remembered for his generous and giving nature, and his wild spirit. He will be remembered most though, for his love of the Lord and church. David will forever remain a loving husband, dad, Pops, and Bubba.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years; Deana Bean; sons, Dylan Wayne Bean and Devin Earl Bean, and his wife, Jessi; grandchildren, Bryson, Corbin, and Danielle; nieces, Emily Elliott, and Megan O’Neal; nephews, Chad, Brandon, and Derek Bean, and Justin Elliott; Uncles, Bill and Curtis Jenkins; mother-in-law, Annie Faye Elliott; sisters-in-law, Stacy Bean and Kim Elliott; brother-in-law, Jim Bud Elliott, and his wife, Bridget; also survived by his church family, especially the Men’s Sunday School Class at Wiley Mae Community Baptist Church; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Dwayne Bean.
