David Wayne Dougharty

David Wayne Dougharty, 66, of Evadale passed away Saturday May 27, 2023. He was born October 2, 1956, in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Philip Bascum Dougharty and Evelyn Pearl Brister.

David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting his guns, he was a former Evadale volunteer Fireman and a member of the Evadale Masonic Lodge number 1366, and worked as a self-employed welder for thirty-five years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Gary T. Dougharty.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-four years Janet Elliot Dougharty; son Phillip Wayne Dougharty and wife Leanna; granddaughters Mallory Dougharty, Madison Dougharty; brother Ralph Dougharty and wife Marie.

David will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
