Obituary

David Charles Smart, 66, of Silsbee passed away Thursday, March 29, 2023. He was born on December 8, 1956 in Warren, Texas to the late Johnny Smart and Vivian Switzer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Smart and Vivian Switzer; brothers, Kevin Reed, Elmer Reed, Robin Smart, Paul Smart, Jackson Smart, William “Bill” Smart, Johnny Smart, Dennis Smart, and James Smart; sister Dorothy Prince.

He is survived by his sisters Sheila Harmon and Emma Thorton; numerous family members and friends.

David will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
