Debra Jean Moss

Debra Jean Moss, 70, of Buna passed away Thursday July 31, 2025, in Newton. She was born on October 24, 1954, to the late Benny and Louella (Hooks) Kelly.

Debra was a kind and compassionate woman, with a servant’s heart. She was always willing to care for and show kindness to anyone in need. She was an avid reader and shopper. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her daughter Jolene, and brother James Kelly.

Debra is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Henry Joe Moss; daughter Jody Powell; son Larry Joe Fountain; 6 grandchildren; sister, Brenda Robinson; brothers Tommy and Jim Kelly; and a host of other family members and friends.

Mrs. Moss' cremation arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
