Deniece Garsee, 91, of Evadale, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Mill Creek Nursing Home. She was born on Wednesday, June 21, 1933, in Silsbee, to John and Pearl Hare.
Deniece worked as a receiving clerk at Lamar University for many years. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, and dominoes, and was a longtime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She will forever remain a loving mother, sister, and MeMe.
Survivors include her son; Robert Garsee, and his wife, Jackie; daughter, Dranna Scott, and her husband, Robert Lee; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Nina Franklin, Pat Day, and Betty Jo Wagstaff; as well as a host of other loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Lynn Garsee; brothers, Buster Rucker, and Forest and JP Hare; sisters, Maxine Smith, Maureen Iwasko, Ima Franklin, Dorothy Sandlin, and Wanda Faye Carson.
