Donald Eugene Czap

Donald Eugene Czap, 81, of Kountze passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021 at his home. He was born July 21, 1940 in McKeeseport, Pennsylvania to the late Frank Czap Jr. and Esther Hegedus Czap.

Donald married his wife Georgene in 1997 and they were married 24 years. He collected toy trains and also enjoyed fishing. Donald loved his cats, he loved his wife, and his grandchildren were his world. Donald was known to them as Pappy and he and Georgene moved from Pennsylvania to Texas just to be near them. Donald will be truly missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, James Czap; and his first wife, Janet Czap.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Georgene Czap; stepchildren, Michelle McKeefer, Michael McKeefer and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Michaela Starinsky, Lance Corporal Cameron Adams,  Jovan Hill, Kannin McKeefer, Jessica McKeefer; sister, Carol Kunkle and husband Dale; and numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 3PM Monday, July 26, 2021 at Anchor of Hope Church in Kountze. Visitation will be held Sunday evening at the church from 5-7PM.

Cremation services will be held under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
