Earl Marie (Hooks) Eddins

Earl Marie Eddins, 95, of Silsbee, passed away Sunday October 5, 2025. She was born May 4, 1930, in Spurger to the late James Lee and Vivian Hooks.

Ms. Earl enjoyed spending her time out in the yard with her plants, flowers, and chickens. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by both parents, her husband of 50 years, Raymond Eddins Jr.; son Randy Eddins; brothers Sam Bo Hooks, James Hooks, Lawayne Hooks; and sister Margie Faye Williford.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sheila Letney; grandchildren, Rodney Lynn Letney, Donnie Wayne Gordon, Dewey Ray Eddins, and Tommy Ray Eddins; numerous great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
