Eddy Lee Roby Jr.

Eddy Lee Roby Jr., 63, of Kountze passed away Monday, May 9, 2022. He was born in Kountze, Texas to the late Patsy Washington Roby and Eddy Lee Roby Sr.

Eddy worked at the papermill in Evadale for over 40 years. He was known as strong willed, helpful, funny and selfless. Eddy loved his kids and his family dearly. He married his wife Roxane in August 2019. They were together a total of 9 years.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Washington Roby.

Eddy is survived by his wife, Roxane Key Roby of Kountze; children Heather Wyatt of Crosby, Courtney Wyatt of Beaumont, Michael Roby of Beaumont, and Emilio Valdez Jr. of Beaumont; grandchildren, Auza-Rae Green and Dwayne (DJ) Green Jr; Brothers Adrian Roby and William (Cody) Key; mother-in-law Hazel Key; lifelong best friend, Greg Henry; and numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Roby will be held at 10AM Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Cremation services will be held under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
