Edward J Chadwick

Edward Jefferson Chadwick, 93, was born January 22, 1927 in Slidell, LA to Edgar and Viola Chadwick.  Mr. Chadwick passed away June 4, 2020 in Saratoga, TX.  Edward loved to travel and work in his garden. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during WW II and was a member of First Baptist Church of Saratoga, serving as deacon for more than 50 years.  He was a retired carpenter and cabinet maker.

Mr. Chadwick is preceded in death by his parents; son John Paul Chadwick and his sister Audria Harmon.  Edward is survived by his wife of more than 68 years, Patsy Ann Chadwick of Saratoga; son Mark Chadwick and wife Michelle of Kountze; daughter Helen Williams of Atascocita; grandson John Paul Chadwick Jr of Hardin; great grandchildren, John Paul Chadwick III and Abigail Chadwick, of Hardin; and sister Virginia "Pee Wee" Hybarger of Kountze.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Saratoga with Rev. Frank Argon officiating.  Interment will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10 am - 12 noon Tuesday at the church.
