Obituary

Elizabeth Ann Smart, 82, of Silsbee passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023. She was born on April 10, 1941 in Greenville, Mississippi to the late Charles Hardin and Annie May (Martin) Hardin.

Elizabeth married her late husband, James Smart on May 25, 1960 in Orange, Texas. She worked as a Wal-Mart greeter in Jasper for many years. Elizabeth enjoyed many hobbies such as cooking, sewing, crochet, and having cookouts with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by both parents; and husband, James Smart.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Trisha Dominy and husband Bronson; grandchildren, Britton Payne and Kourtney Durham, Amanda Cox and husband Robert, Daniel Dominy and wife Kathy, Cassandra Burns and husband Jacob, Kevin Dominy and wife Kaylee; great grandchildren, Loni Dominy, Leah Dominy, Madison Payne, Lilly Burns, Kennedy Payne, Sophia Dominy, Dixi Collard, Zander Dominy, Kyler Dominy, Wyatt Payne, Lincoln Payne, Raven Burns, Sylvie Dominy;and a host of other family members and friends.

A heartfelt and special thank you is extended to Brandi & James Payne, and Kathy & Daniel Dominy.

Cremation services will be held under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
