Ella J. (Jennische) James

Ella J. James, of Kountze, passed away Saturday April 27, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Baytown, on December 1, 1959.

Ella was a legal assistant for many years and had an extensive knowledge in medicine and health care. She will be remembered for her love of the outdoors, especially horseback riding as a child to fishing and camping as an adult. Mrs. James loved butterflies and flowers but was partial to Gardenias and Roses as well as anything purple. She will be most remembered for her ability to prioritize family, make it to events, cooking and her Love for her Lord and Savior. She will forever remain a loving Wife, Mother and Mamaw.

Survivors include her Husband of 40 years, Glenn D. James, of Kountze; son Jean Anthony Jennische, of Silsbee; daughters, Belvia Ann Swift, and her husband Everett, of Kountze; Brandy Renee Campbell, and her husband Adam, of Giddings; and Andrea Sheree Peacock, and her husband, Chris, of Katy; 15 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

A gathering of Mrs. James' family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 with her funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Farmer Funeral Home 415 N. 4th Street Silsbee, TX. 77656. Interment will follow immediately at Franks Branch Cemetery, in Fred.
