Ellen Burge

Ellen Burge, 62, of Silsbee passed away Monday, June 16, 2025. She was born on Tuesday November 13, 1962, in Houston to the late Henry and Jo Ellen Pickering.

Ellen was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing games (especially Wahoo), she also really enjoyed hunting and fishing, and she was a devout Dallas Cowboys fan. She was a loving, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by both parents, grandparents, Alva and Lula Mae Pickering, and John D. and Nannie Bell Trahan, and her nephew Steve Justice Jr.

Those left to carry on Ellen’s memory include her partner of 20 years, Tommy Lamey; her children Robert Burge Jr., Roy Loftin Jr., Chris Lamey and wife Brooklyn, Jason Lamey and wife Ellen, and Justin Lamey; grandchildren, Bravyn, Chevy, Zevin, Bree, Bryn, Evan, Adilyn, Heidi, Kailey, Brailey, Grace, Blaine, Case, and Nolan; siblings, Nancy Justice and husband Steve, John Pickering and wife Cheryl, Gene Pickering and wife Kelli, Margaret Williams and husband Kevin.
