Elsie Mae (Wright) Bennett

Elise Bennett, 96, of Silsbee, Texas passed Thursday, September 05, 2024 at her home in Silsbee.

She was born on January 22, 2022, Big Sandy, Texas to Chancie Wright and Alma (Dillian) Wright.

She is proceeded in death by parents, brother K. J., son, John Jones, (daughter) Oleta Dorsey. As well as her dog Prissy.

Ms. Elsie is survived by her loving husband, Donald “Don” of 27 years; children, Luther Jones, Jr., wife Darlene of Vidor, Gary Jones of Silsbee, Donna Jones of Vidor, and Lamar Moore of Vidor; grandchildren Kristie Sirmons and husband Billy of Vidor, Janet Dorsey of Vidor, John Dorsey of Costa Mesa, CA, Jason Jones of Vidor, Amanda McGlothlin of Vidor, Justin Moore of Vidor, Gary Jones, Jr.  of Nederland, Ashley Baxter of Richmond, Amy Lindow of Richmond, and Heather Skeen of Richmond, Texas; 14 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

A gathering of Ms. Elsie’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 09, 2024 at Farmer Funeral Home Chapel 415 N. 5th Street Silsbee, Texas. Her funeral service on will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 09, 2024 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee, Texas.
