Elwood “Rusty” Cleo Gore Jr.

Elwood Cleo Gore, born on December 18, 1950, sadly passed away May 20, 2023, at a beautiful age of 72.

He has been survived by his wife Donna Gore. His children Donnie Clowers, Kurt Gore, Kristi Gore, Amber Favors, Aaron Gore, and Trent McCauley. Along with his sister Lynn Wychumas.

He spent his life structuring a wonderful way of raising his beautiful children and giving to them day in and day out. From working around the yard to welding for Mead West Vaco. He was always busy being a provider. He had a beautiful number of grandchildren that loved him dearly and could always enjoy seeing the smile Paw Paw could bring. He is also survived by Krista Delano, Markus Clowers, Josh Favors, Jaelynn Favors, Lane Gore, Chevy Gore, and Myles McCauley. Great Grandchildren, Rhyder Clowers, Joshlynn Clowers, and Colton Clowers. All of whom have grown and will always love the Grandpa he was.

Today we’re here to celebrate not the loss but the life that was lived. The story may have ended but the book will always be worth the read. A life as meaningful as Elwood “Rusty” Gore is worth celebrating day in and day out. A man so precious, a man so strong is nothing more then an inspiration to a life that everyone should lead. The world may lose him but to us we’ve lost our world. The Visitation will take place May 23, 2023, at Farmers Funeral Home at 415 N 4th St, Silsbee, Tx. 77656 between 6-8P.M. The Funeral will be held May 24, 2023, at 1 P.M. at Good Shepherd at 3700 FM 92, Silsbee, Tx 77656
