Erlean (Marshall) Spurlock

Erlean Spurlock, 82, of Silsbee passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021. She was born December 1, 1938 in Evadale, Texas to the late Thomas Marshall and Alma Hester Marshall.

Erlean was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she also loved music; her favorite being Jerry Lee Lewis. Erlean married her husband George Christmas Eve 1957 and they were married for forty-two years until the time of his death in 1999. Together they had three children. She was loved by all and will be missed dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, George Spurlock; sister, Ima Jean Moore; and brother, Gerald “Buddy” Marshall.

Erlean is survived by her children, Sandy Erwin and husband Dewey, Chris Spurlock and wife Melanie, Patrice Malzahn and husband Jason; grandchildren, Kirsten Spurlock and Jayce Capps; numerous, nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10AM Friday, February 26, 2021 at Farmer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday night from 5-7PM.
