Ervin Wade Glover, 77, of Lumberton passed away Wednesday July 10, 2024. He was born March 8, 1947 in Jasper to the late Ervin D. Glover and Alice McLelland Glover.
Wade retired from the Air Force after 21 years of service; he was in strategic air commands as a crew chief on B-52s, 3rd combat communications group, and an NSA cryptographer. He was a part of a Cowboy action shooters group with the Big Thicket Outlaws and the Citizens in Action Group and was also an active member of the B-Troop 4th U.S Calvary and served 8 years in Lumberton’s Volunteer Fire Department. Wade was a loving husband, father, pawpaw, G-dad, brother, and friend. Wade will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by both parents and wife Sharon.
Wade is survived by children, Benjamin Glover and wife Brenda, Bryan Glover and wife Kerra; grandchildren, Jordan Pullum, Elijah Pullum, Kennedi Glover, Austin Glover, Nicholas Glover, Nathan Glover; great grandchildren, LilliAnna and Benjamin Pullum; sister, Connie Sherill and husband Harold; and a host of other family members and friend.
