Francis “Quico” Paul Rodriguez, 70, of Silsbee, died Saturday, July 19, 2025. He was born on Thursday, February 17, 1955, to Jose Antonio and Frances Rodriguez, in Silsbee.
He was a lifetime resident of Silsbee, and attended school there, graduating from Silsbee High School in 1973. Quico spent his entire working career as a roughneck in the oil industry. He enjoyed cooking, working in the yard, games, and puzzles, and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns. He will forever remain a loving brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to all.
Survivors include his sisters, Maria Rodriguez Martinez, Mary Rodriguez Guerra, and Veronica Ann Hernandez, and her husband, Guadalupe; brother, Arthur Charles Rodriguez, and his wife, Daughn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Quico was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Frances Rodriguez and his brothers, Jose Antonio and Ramon Francisco Rodriguez.
Honorary pallbearers include:Charles David Lockhart, who was like a son to Quico, Steve Albright, Christopher Lockhart, Aaron Lockhart, Keith Foster, Kenny Foster, Frank Harvill, and Angel Vargas.
Quico's cremation arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
