Frank Albert Purvis passed peacefully surrounded by his family on December 27th 2020 in Beaumont, Texas. Frank was born on May 2nd, 1944 in Silsbee, Texas to Marion and Louise (Hoffman) Purvis.
He was a long time Electrical Lineman who worked in the plants and retired from Neutron Electric Co. of Beaumont, Texas. Frank was a long-time resident of Silsbee. He enjoyed years spent as Trail Boss and President of Silsbee Trail Riders, where many fond memories were made with family and friends. He loved horses and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. When he wasn’t hunting and fishing, he enjoyed riding his Harley with friends.
Frank is survived by his son, John M. Purvis (JM); his step-sons, Dewayne Waldrep and wife Niki, Keith Waldrep and wife, Angela, and Eric Waldrep and wife Kena; his thirteen grandchildren; and his fourteen great grandchildren.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sister; and his granddaughter, Britaney R. Waldrep.
A visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Wednesday December 30, 2020 at Farmer Funeral Home.
