Garret Wayne Moore, 38, of Lumberton, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Garret was born on August 27, 1987 in Port Arthur to his parents, Bruce Wayne Moore and Joanne Moore.
Garret graduated from Lumberton High school, where he met his high school sweetheart, Ashley Langele. He and Ashley were together for 20 years and married for 14 years. Garret was a member of Life Point Church in Sour Lake. He was a Batman enthusiast, loved the Power Rangers, and was an avid 90s toy collector, not to mention his deep love for Star Wars. Garret was a true kid at heart and enjoyed sharing his love of action figures with his father and his children. You could often find Garret with the latest electronics or checking out the upcoming changes in technology.
Garret worked for the American Pipeline as an API inspector for many years, He enjoyed his work immensely. Above all, Garret had a deep love for his children, his loving wife, Ashley, his parents, siblings, extended family and close friends. He was loved by many and will be missed.
Garret was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Wayne Moore, and his grandparents, Dean and Royetta Moore.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ashley Moore; his children, Alec Moore, Jacen Moore, Cora Moore, and Tucker Moore; his mother, Joanne Moore; his sister, Alicia Venn and her husband Charles; his two brothers, Travis Moore and Aiden Moore; his mother-in-law, Brenda Pressley and her husband Todd; his father-in-law, Oscar Langele and his wife Lisa; brothers-in-law, Sean Langele and Kelton Keenon and his wife Jenell; and his sisters-in-law, Emma Pressley and Abigail Pressley. Survivors also include a host of additional nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
