Gary Lynn Giblin, 83, of Warren passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025 peacefully at his home. He was born December 9, 1941 in Beaumont to Harold and Etha May (Carr) Giblin.
Gary was a native of Southeast Texas and former resident of Fannett. He retired from the Texas Department of Transportation and resided in Warren for the past 23 years. Gary graduated from South Park High School in 1960 and was a United States Air Force Veteran of 7 years.
Gary loved spending time in the great outdoors, primarily fishing and crabbing along the upper Texas coast. He also loved hunting, woodworking, and vegetable gardening. Gary was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by both parents; his wife, Dona (Craigen) Giblin of 60 years; and his daughter, Darla Giblin.
He is survived by his son Kevin Giblin and wife Shauna; grandchildren, Heather Biscamp and husband Michael, Bill Northen, Jeremy Giblin, Jordan Gore, and husband Tristan; great grandchildren, Madison, Brayson, Brynlee, Bentley, Baylor, and Tinsley; brother, Donald Giblin, and wife Charlott; sisters, Loretta York, and Lurah Broussard; and several nieces and nephews.
