Georgia Parish-Sontag Obituary

Georgia Lynn Parish-Sontag, 73, of Silsbee, Texas passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020. Georgia was born on Sunday, April 21, 1946 to Charles Wesley and Florence Rose Downs in Carbon Hill, Ohio. Georgia loved her family and her animals. She also enjoyed being outdoors and working in her garden.

Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Wesley and Florence Rose Downs; sons, Arthur (Buddy) Roark, and Mark Roark; and a daughter, Naomi Rose Brumfield.

Georgia is survived by her loving husband, Cleveland Sontag; sons, Tex Roark, Jr., and wife Kim, and Alan Sontag, and wife Shannon; daughters-in-law, Tina Roark, and Wendy Roark; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Timothy Downs, and Charles Downs; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

A Memorial Service Honoring the Life of Georgia Lynn Parish-Sontag will be held at a later date.
