Gerald (JoeBill) Lee Langston

Funeral services for Gerald Lee (JoeBill) Langston 80, of Lumberton will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Concord Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery.

Mr. Langston was born February 6, 1942, he was a native of Zavalla, Texas to the late Ida (Best) Guinn and Arthur Lee Langston, died Sunday, April 24, 2022, at The Medical Center of SETX

Mr. Langston was a proud army veteran and iron worker. He later in life took up the hobby of woodworking, he loved to build gifts for his grandchildren. He was also an avid gardener, he enjoyed showing off his vegetables and loved to stroll through his garden.

Survivors include his sons, Stacy Langston and wife Robin, Michael Langston and wife Dana, Gregory Langston and wife Tonya, and Joseph Scott Langston and wife Kim; grandchildren, Kacee and husband Alex, Weston and wife Katelyn, Amanda and husband Dillin, Hayden, Justin and fiancée Leena, Colt and fiancée Taylor, Michael’a, Lauren, and Jolee; great-grandchildren, Emmaree, Trebor, Ryett, Adalann, Alexys, Asher, and Holland; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives who he cherished.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years; Ada Langston, parents; Arthur Langston and Ida Best Guinn, sister; Virginia “Ginger” Langston,

grandson; Jacob Langston; great-grandson, Keston Morgan, and 16 half siblings and their spouses.

Pallbearers will be Weston Morgan, Dillin Payne, Hayden Langston, Justin Langston, Colt Langston, and Alex Atkins.

Visitation will be held at Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Zavalla, Texas, at 10:00 am with services following at 11:00 am
