Gloria June (Mitcham) Mitchell

Gloria “June” Mitchell, born August 22, 1942 in Rockland, TX, passed away April 25, 2021 in Lumberton, TX.  June was a local Realtor for 30+ years, and was a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Warren, TX.  She never met a stranger, always put others first and made sure her door was always open with a meal waiting, was the world’s greatest Grandmother, but most importantly made sure her family and friends knew and served God.   June is preceded in death by her parents Wiley H and Lou Bessie Williams Mitcham; siblings Francis Stanford, Joseph, Wiley and George Mitcham.  She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years William R. Mitchell, Sr, her children, Teri L Mitchell, William R. Mitchell Jr and Scott A. Mitchell; her grandchildren Tana N. Tupper, Brett D. Byrd, Brittany A. Byrd, Heather R. Perez, Alexis N. Mitchell, Derrick A. Mitchell, Samantha L. Drake;  great grandchildren Kourtlyn A. Tupper, Bryce D. Byrd, Kieley A. Byrd, Cayden P. Tupper, Brooklyn T. Byrd, Kinley R. Tidwell, Bria A. Byrd, Katy N. Tidwell, Jase H. Drake, Gavin W. Drake, Alayah S. Perez, and Lexi D. Perez.  June is also survived by her sister Rebecca Gilchriest, Sue Basset and her brothers Johnny and Wesley Mitcham.  Her children and grandchildren’s Spouses and significant others Patti Renee Mitchell, John Spencer Gilbert, Nicole Lee Baker, Aaron Paul Tupper, Fay Marie Byrd,  Marcus Dominic Perez, Josh Drake, and Landon Carr
