Hazel Aline (McNeely) Cunningham

Hazel Aline Cunningham passed away peacefully to meet her heavenly father Sunday, March 19, 2023. She was born in Fred, Texas to the late Ed McNeely and Ella Baker McNeely and was the youngest of eight children. She visited with us here on God’s beautiful earth for over 89 years. Hazel was filled with life, was charming and captivating, unusually beautiful with a personality that was whimsical, feisty, and merrily mischievous. She was a beautiful soul who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her son, Harvey “Dwain” Cunningham; both parents; all of her siblings; and one grandson.

Hazel is survived by her faithful, loyal, and loving daughter, Patsy Elaine Young; her youngest child, Loretta Cunningham Hood and husband Chad; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
