Ima Howell Obituary

Ima Jean Howell, 74, of Houson, TX, previously of Silsbee, passed away December 31, 2019 in Houston. Mrs. Howell was born on April 20, 1945 in Silsbee, Texas and is the daughter of Clarence O'Dell Paine and Vera Lee Gore. Jean had one sister, Betty Anne Wiggins, whom she spent every minute admiring and adoring. Jean Howell is survived by William "Bill" Howell, whom she married on February 22, 1966 and they have been happily married for 53 years. On July 27, 1969, Jean and Bill Howell welcomed to the world their first son, William Christopher Howell. While taking care of Chris, Jean Howell then had her second son, Robert Paul Howell on April 17, 1972. Throughout the years of her son's childhood, Jean Howell took care of her boys with unconditional love and support. As they grew up, she watched them turn into men who eventually met the loves of their lives. Chris Howell met Lynn Esacove and moved to California to begin their life-long journey. Paul Howell met his wife, Danielle Hatfield-Howell, and they had two daughters Emily Eileen Howell and Isabel Elyse Howell. Jean Howell was full of love with a heart of gold, filled with love and support for her whole family and everyone around her. Everyone who knew Jean Howell was overwhelmed by her deep affection of animals, nature, and her adoration of everything her family loved.
