Jackie Bee (Cleveland) Anders

Jackie Bee Cleveland Anders passed this life peacefully at her home on Friday, February 5th, 2021 in the company of her husband and their two sons.

                Jackie was born in Beaumont, Texas, on August 9th, 1942 to Georgie Inez Roberts and O.B. Cleveland. She was the second of three children born to this union. She was raised in Beaumont and Kountze and attended school mostly in Kountze where she graduated in 1961. She was a member of the Kountze High School Band for three years. Jackie met her husband in high school and they dated for four years before they married on January 25th, 1963.

                Jackie worked for Erma Anderson at Kountze Jewelry as a teen and later worked as a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone Company. She then worked as a bookkeeper for Overstreet Butane before working for Hardin County WIC Department where she retired. She loved gardening, birdwatching and flowers. She was loved by all who knew her for her kindness and generosity.

                She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jimmy Anders; two sons, Jim Anders and Jay Anders; her sister, Kitty Drake; brother, Robert Cleveland and half-brother, Ricky Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her parents and half-brother, Joey Cleveland.

                Funeral services will be held at graveside only at Hooks Cemetery in Kountze, Texas, under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home of Silsbee on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 at 10 a.m. Pallbearers will be John Anders, Adam Anders, Wes Armour, Tommy Williams, Sam Buller and Josh Barclay. Masks and social distancing are not required but recommended.
