James Don Alfaro

James Don Alfaro, 78, of Fred passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023. He was born on September 18, 1944 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Joe Alfaro and Mattie Elizabeth Bell Alfaro.

James was a proud veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War era. He retired as an installer for AT&T after many years. He was loved by all who met him and he will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by both parents; and cousin, Billy Walter Odom.

James is survived by his sister, Peggy Judiene Bolchoz; cousin in law, Era Jane Odom; other cousins, Scott Odom and wife Rhonda, Jody Odom and wife Wanda, LeAnna Martinez and husband Gerard; and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fred Volunteer Fire Department or The Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Fred.
